Facts About Mobile Interactivity
A series of papers has been presented about digital signage interaction by Digital Signage Forum and BlueFire Digital. The subject revolved around Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at the technical level, as well as around SMS and the ways to gain monetary benefits out of it. Plenty of new and innovative interactive technologies are present in the industry for digital signage, which includes plain kiosk, window display, gesticulate interaction and others. These technologies are advantageous to the clients as they keep track of the usage and the data and provide longer publicity to the product. This will prove to be precious for clients as the consumers will be well within their reach. This new and innovative mobile interactivity enables the clients to send promotional messages about the product to the consumer through their mobile phones. Posters are another common form of billboard advertising that are located mainly in commercial and industrial areas on primary and secondary arterial roads. Posters are a smaller format than bulletins and are viewed mainly by residents and commuting traffic, with some pedestrian exposure.
Outdoor promotions work on a subliminal level, – designed as it is to be focused on marketing to consumers when they are ‘on the go’ in public places, in-transit, waiting, such as in a doctor or dentist office, or in specific commercial locations, such as in a shopping venue. Billboard advertising is a powerful and popular means of outdoor advertising, as is digital advertising. Read the rest of this entry »
